Coronation Street is set to deliver explosive scenes next week as Daniel Osbourne and Adam Barlow finally come to blows in a confrontation that leaves one of them covered in blood.

The pair’s feud reaches breaking point after Daniel discovers that Adam has been involved in the controversial sale of the Weatherfield High school land — and he is absolutely furious.

But with Adam insisting he had no choice but to accept the business opportunity, Daniel refuses to let the matter rest.

Daniel confronts Adam over the school land scandal

The trouble begins when Daniel discovers the truth about Adam and Idris Nazir’s involvement in the sale of the school land.

Daniel cannot believe that his own nephew has been involved in the deal, particularly given the wider implications for Weatherfield.

Adam attempts to defend himself, explaining that he could not afford to turn down the opportunity.

However, Daniel is in no mood to listen.

The argument quickly escalates as Daniel challenges Adam over his actions, with neither man prepared to back down.

What begins as a heated exchange soon turns physical, and the pair end up fighting in the street.

Adam is left covered in blood

The fight leaves Adam in a terrible state, with his suit ripped and blood covering his clothes.

The situation is made even more embarrassing when Ken Barlow and Amy Barlow stumble across the shocking scene.

Horrified by what they are witnessing, they can only watch as the family dispute spirals out of control.

Tyrone Dobbs eventually steps in and pulls the two men apart before things can get even worse.

But the damage has already been done, and the consequences could be significant for both Daniel and Adam.

Adam faces a race against time

As if the fight were not bad enough, Adam has an important court appearance to attend.

He is due to represent Marco Rhodes at his appeal hearing, where Summer Spellman is anxiously waiting for him to arrive.

With his suit ripped and his clothes covered in blood, Adam has a serious problem.

Tyrone points out that he can hardly turn up at court looking like that, leaving Adam scrambling to deal with the aftermath of the confrontation.

Meanwhile, Summer is left waiting nervously, unaware of the full extent of the chaos unfolding elsewhere.

Will Adam manage to make it to court in time, or could Daniel’s confrontation have serious consequences for Marco’s appeal?

Could this destroy the Barlow family?

The fight raises serious questions about the future of Daniel and Adam’s relationship.

Daniel clearly feels betrayed by his nephew’s involvement in the school land sale, while Adam appears determined to defend his decision.

With Ken caught up in the fallout and tensions running high, this could be the beginning of an even bigger family feud.

And with Idris continuing to pursue his own business ambitions, there may be more trouble ahead for everyone involved.
