Daniel and Adam’s feud explodes into violence
Daniel is furious when he discovers Adam’s involvement in the sale of the Weatherfield High school land.
Adam attempts to justify his actions by explaining that he could not afford to turn down the business opportunity, but Daniel refuses to accept his explanation.
The confrontation soon becomes physical, with the pair fighting in the street. Adam is left with a ripped suit and covered in blood, just as he is expected in court for Marco’s appeal hearing.
Meanwhile, Carla delivers devastating news to her Underworld employees, admitting that she is struggling to keep the factory afloat.

However, he is unaware that Leanne Battersby has witnessed his actions.

Carla makes a devastating announcement
Leanne confronts Idris and Brody after witnessing the teenager breaking into the factory.
The situation soon spirals out of control, leaving Carla with no choice but to announce that Underworld is closing.
In a heartbreaking moment for the workers, Carla reveals that she can only afford to pay them one month’s wages.
Brody is disgusted when he realises that Idris and Leanne seem largely unconcerned about the people who are about to lose their jobs.
But is the closure really the end of Underworld, or is there a more sinister plan at work?
Meanwhile, Ross continues to torment Marco in prison.
When Ross discovers a card from Summer among Marco’s belongings, he tears it to pieces. Gary is furious when he finds Marco upset and confronts Ross, who makes it clear that he intends to remain in control.
Elsewhere, Kit becomes frustrated when Lisa gives him a men’s pamper hamper. His mood deteriorates further when he discovers Bernie and Gemma discussing the BRCA gene again.
Sensing that Kit needs a break, Dev takes him out for a curry.
