Monday 28 September

Carl comes under suspicion over Eva’s attack.

Ben continues to keep vigil at Eva’s hospital bedside following the attack that left her seriously injured.

Meanwhile, Kit questions Carl about what happened at the Rovers. Carl insists that he helped Eva tidy up because she wasn’t feeling well before he went home.

However, Carl’s story starts to look suspicious when Debbie decides to buy Eva some flowers and Carl produces a wallet stuffed with cash.

Ronnie and Kevin begin wondering whether Carl robbed the pub and accidentally pushed Eva down the stairs.

Elsewhere, Betsy returns to work at Underworld, hoping to get some practice before her upcoming college interview.

Tim also tells Lisa about concerns surrounding Richie and his previous attempts to influence his witness statement — unaware that Lucy is listening.

Tuesday 29 September

Lucy continues to cause concern for Tim and Sally.

Sally becomes worried after seeing Lucy’s artwork and questioning what it means.

Meanwhile, Kit loses his temper at the police station and is told by Lisa that he needs to take some time off and get himself together.

Christina receives some big news when George promotes her to assistant funeral director. However, Bernie then reveals Kit’s cancer diagnosis, leaving Christina with plenty to think about.

Elsewhere, Glenda continues trying to raise money for Debbie’s dementia choir.

Wednesday 30 September

Carl is questioned by police.

The pressure finally becomes too much for Carl as the police take him in for questioning over Eva’s attack.

Carl continues to protest his innocence, but suspicion surrounding him continues to grow.

Meanwhile, Tim grounds Lucy after her recent behaviour, leaving her furious. Later, Tim discovers that £40 has gone missing from his wallet.

Could Lucy have taken the money?

Elsewhere, Nick and Toyah try to get Sam to open up about his increasingly strange behaviour.

Jodie also continues manipulating the situation at home.

Thursday 1 October

The mystery surrounding Eva’s attacker takes a dramatic turn.

Ben is overheard telling Kevin that the police still don’t know who attacked Eva.

Then, someone comes forward and confesses to being responsible.

But who is Eva’s attacker — and why have they kept the truth hidden?

Meanwhile, Jodie takes an extremely worrying step. She goes through Doug’s belongings and interferes with his medication.

Elsewhere, Sam finally breaks down and confesses something shocking to Nick.

He admits that he took out a credit card in Nick’s name to trade cryptocurrency, leaving him with more than £6,000 of debt.

Friday 2 October

The consequences of the week’s revelations begin to unfold.

Sally and Lucy visit the undertakers to arrange Rachel’s plaque. However, Christina becomes uncomfortable when Sally brings out family photographs.

Meanwhile, David and Shona become increasingly disturbed by Doug’s behaviour as his paranoia appears to return.

Jodie secretly seems pleased by the situation and continues to manipulate her dad.

Elsewhere, Nick admits that he will struggle to repay the £6,000 debt Sam has built up.
